You have completed your Phlebotomy course and are now ready to take your national certification exam. AMTI can help you prepare for that exam! Come join us for a 3-hour ASCP/AMT Phlebotomy exam prep course taught by Dr. Elaine Kozuka, one of our amazing Phlebotomy Instructors here at Arizona Medical Training Institute.

The course will take place on a Saturday from 2:00PM to 5:00PM. The course will contain two hours of lecture covering exam prep topics and test taking skills. You will then take a practice exam, to help identify the areas of focus most important in your preparation and study before taking the ASCP PBT or AMT RPT Exam.

ACSP Certification is the gold standard for Phlebotomists. Getting certified as a Phlebotomy Technician, PBT(ASCP) by the ASCP can open additional doors in your career path. If you plan on moving out of the State of Arizona, getting a national certification will also allow you to continue to work as a Phlebotomists in other states, without having to start training over again.

While certification is not mandatory for to work as a phlebotomist, students are highly encouraged to seek certification. Students who seek certification may earn approximately $1/hr more than their un-certified counterparts. Certification is also an attestation to the professionalism and dedication to the profession the student is seeking employment in.
